The QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of construction work. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and verifying that construction activities adhere to project specifications, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Testing:
o Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to verify that work is being performed according to project specifications and quality standards.
o Perform tests on construction materials, equipment, and completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements.
o Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.

Compliance Monitoring:
o Ensure that construction practices comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
o Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
o Verify that subcontractors and suppliers adhere to quality control procedures and standards.

Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and observations.
o Prepare and submit inspection reports, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
o Communicate quality issues and non-conformities to project managers and relevant stakeholders.

Coordination and Communication:
o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to address quality issues and ensure smooth project execution.
o Provide guidance and support to construction teams on quality standards and best practices.
o Participate in project meetings to discuss quality control matters and provide updates on inspection findings.

Quality Control Procedures:
o Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and suggest improvements as needed.
o Ensure that all quality control activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• 4-5 years of experience as a QC Inspector within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in inspection tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
