Role Purpose :



The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a key member of the engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of mechanical systems and equipment, provide technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the successful execution of projects and the efficient operation of mechanical systems.



Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:



Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components based on project requirements and specifications.
Utilize engineering principles, computer-aided design (CAD) software, and other tools to create detailed designs.
Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians involved in mechanical design and development projects.
Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to the team.
Assess potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
Plan and oversee the execution of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
Ensure that mechanical systems, equipment, and designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Stay updated on new developments and changes in regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and civil, to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Create technical specifications, reports, and other documentation related to mechanical designs, calculations, and analysis.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements


Qualification :



A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, maintenance, and safety practices
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent diagnostic skills.
Effective communication skills.
Leadership skills
Collaboration.
Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
