Description

Zuwa has an opportunity for a Welding Inspector who will be primarily responsible for conducting and managing welding inspection operations for various projects across the region. The role will also be responsible for efficient project management, team bonding and customer service.

This position will be based in Dammam, KSA Responsibilities Witnessing & inspection of Welding Procedures Qualification (PQR) and Welders Qualification (WQT), on site Record inspection data on site record forms and Preparation and issuance of PQR and WQT documents / records and pick & drop of coupons between customers site and NDT sub-contractor Able to effectively use welding inspection tools & equipment's (i-e Weld Gages, Volt/Amps meter etc.) and review documents (i-e WPS, Material Test Certificates etc.) Interpret RT films and review NDT reports Work efficiently with sub-contractors and clients Skills / Qualifications Engineering Graduate or Diploma holder (3 Years) in the field of Mechanical / Metallurgy Should be a certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI) with knowledge in Destructive Testing and working experience of PQR & WQT as per international codes and standards (i-e ASME Sec IX, API-1104, AWS D1.1 etc.) Working experience and knowledge in NDT (RT/UT/PT/MT) Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills and determined quality focus,able to get the job done under the most challenging conditions Should possess good communication skills in English


Iqama transferable
Should be valid ksa Driving licences
