Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Control – Piping Inspector for Saudi Aramco Pipeline Construction project. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in quality inspection, particularly in the hydrocarbon piping and pipeline installation domain.


Key Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
Over 6 years of total inspection experience, including at least 4 years in piping inspection and 2 years in the same construction scope of work.
Candidates with a total of 6 years of inspection experience will also be considered.
Familiar with international standards such as ANSI, ASTM, AWWA, PIP, API, and UPC.
Saudi Aramco approval as QC Inspector and project experience is highly preferred.
Strong experience in EPC projects.


Technical Expertise:
Proficient in the quality requirements of hydrocarbon piping and pipeline installation.
Experienced in document reviews as per applicable ITPs and project specifications.
Skilled in conducting material receiving inspections according to standards and drawings.
Knowledgeable in NDT requirements based on the scope of work.
Extensive experience in the installation and fabrication of piping spools, fit-up, hydrostatic testing, and preservation requirements.
Proficient in inspecting valves during various stages for valves material receiving, preservation, installation, and testing.
Experienced in preparing hydrostatic test packages, tie-in packages, and conducting flange assembly and re-instatement inspections.
Knowledgeable in pre-commissioning activities.


Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections at various stages of the project to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
Prepare detailed reports and document reviews in line with project requirements.
Actively identify and report nonconformities and provide proactive solutions to the construction teams.
Ensure all work adheres to the highest standards of safety and quality.
