Job Description

A highly skilled Lab Engineer is required for a challenging role. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position region. Previous employment in third-party laboratories or civil works/road works contractor laboratories is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in relevant international standards and testing methods and equipment. The candidate must be adaptable to multiple specification platforms and possess a deep understanding of the standard requirements for related works. Excellent communication skills are essential as the candidate will be working with a multidisciplinary team. Proven experience in testing soil and concrete and obtaining approval for concrete mix designs is a must.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of soil and concrete samples according to relevant international standards.
• Analyze and interpret test results, and prepare detailed reports for project teams and clients.
• Ensure compliance with standard requirements and specifications for related works.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide technical support and guidance.
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Collaborate with engineers and professionals to develop innovative solutions to material-related challenges.

Preferred Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in engineering
Previous employment in third-party laboratories or civil works/road works contractor laboratories.
Proficiency in relevant international standards and testing methods and equipment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
