Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Custom eCommerce Website and API Developer to build, maintain, and enhance our eCommerce platforms and associated APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce development, API design, and a passion for creating seamless and scalable web solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

eCommerce Development:

1, Design, develop, and maintain custom eCommerce websites using platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, or custom-built solutions.
2, Implement and customize eCommerce features including product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and order management systems.
3, Ensure the eCommerce website is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance and SEO.

API Development:

1, Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the eCommerce platform and other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, third-party services).
2, Design and implement API endpoints for functionalities such as user authentication, order processing, and data retrieval.
3, Ensure API security, scalability, and performance.

Technical Requirements:

1, Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
2,Troubleshoot and debug issues with the eCommerce website and APIs.
3, Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Project Management:

1, Participate in project planning, including requirement gathering, scoping, and estimation.
Provide regular updates on project progress and work to meet deadlines.

Quality Assurance:

2, Conduct thorough testing of eCommerce solutions and APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and compatibility.
Implement best practices for security and data protection.

Qualifications:

1, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2, Proven experience in developing and maintaining custom eCommerce websites and APIs.
3, Strong proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
4, Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.) and associated technologies.
5, Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
6, Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git or Github).
7, Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
8, Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9, Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

1, Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and server management.
2, Knowledge of API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
3, Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
