Scaffolding inspector
- Perform supervisory activities in accordance with the guidance specified in the relative
project documents, including Inspection, Method Statement, drawings, appropriate industry standards (Aramco) Guidance) and reporting formats.
- Ensure the make-up of the Scaffold Team are qualified personnel and the relevant ratio of advanced scaffolders to basic scaffolders for the structures involved.
- Ensure that scaffold materials are stored and handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and component type traceability is maintained and used.
- Carry out a pre-work survey of the work area to confirm client instructions, area restrictions, access and egress arrangements, materials quantity and plant requirements.
- Supervise scaffolding personnel to ensure operatives and support personnel carry out
their works to support the contracted scaffolding requirements.
- Ensure completed scaffold structures conform to project specifications.
- Ensure client ‘Acceptance and Handover’ of scaffold structure is carried out.
- Monitor scaffold inspection feedback and recommend improvements.
- Prepare daily reports in agreed formats for the status of work and progress.
- Take part in supporting internal or third-party audits of the Company’s quality control system.
- Arrange for timely inspection of the scaffold structure on completion of each works stage or phase and resolve any non-compliance issues.
- Liaise with client representatives on progression of the works and reporting output.
- Encourage best practice in all involved work disciplines and particularly regarding health and safety and environmental issues.
Qualification:
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Previous Aramco experience is a must.
- Previous Aramco approval is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in API 650 storage tank construction activities.
- CSWIP 3.1 Certificate for the welding supervisor.
- Shall demonstrate review and preparation of WPS and PQRs.
- Shall demonstrate knowledge of ASME Sec IX
- Mechanical shall demonstrate knowledge of ASME II, V.
- Experience shall be proven by experience letters.
- Shall demonstrate supervision skills and problem-solving awareness.
- ISO-9001-2015 awareness.
Note: Candidates shall be familiar with Aramco standard and having Valid Aramco certificates
