Job Description:

Carry out routine Bridge crane operating duties and to ensure safe and reliable performance of the plant/facility in compliance with CLIENT strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements).

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Operate crane to maintain proper pit & pad storage and load coke from pad to hopper by following all associated procedures.
2. Properly inspect equipment prior to and post operating and report any additional maintenance needs and conduct frequent audits on the crane.
3. Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies Shift foremen and supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
4. Understand well by following the Operation SOP with procedure of startup & shut down.
5. Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and process disruptions and perform proper daily preventative maintenance.
6. Work closely with maintenance and contractors, ensuring permits and equipment isolation(s) are conforming to CLIENT business processes.
7. Perform Operation inspection & Checklist.
8. Monitor conditions of all equipment within the unit.
9. Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping.
10. Correct and/or report potential failures or equipment malfunctions.
11. Participate in job planning functions such as practice/procedure development or validation.
12. Monitor operating parameters and advise on the necessary changes to ensure the process system or refinery streams are within specified limits.
13. Monitor environmental limits & arrange the disposal of plant hazardous waste to comply with environmental regulations.
14. Perform Operation report in logbook and handover shift.
15. Perform the JTS (Job Task Standard) given by Area Supervisor and Area Engineer.
16. Issue work permits and ensure that the plant's manpower resources are sufficient for meeting operational targets.
17. Follow the operation Instruction given by shift Foremen.

Education / Professional Qualification:
• Education: Diploma Degree in technical or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Certification: NA
• Licences: TUV
