For our Jeddah project we require civil construction quality engineer, with Diploma or B-Tech education in civil or Architecture

candidate must have 7 to 10 years of experience

Able to do:

Conduct thorough inspections of civil construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, structural concrete, and roadworks
Ensure compliance with International Building Code (IBC), ASTM standards, and project-specific quality standards for civil construction
Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and Architectural requirements
Monitor work progress through regular site visits, identifying potential non-conformances and deviations from design intent specific to civil construction
Document inspection results, creating detailed non-conformance reports (NCRs) and punch lists specific to civil works
Communicate findings and corrective action recommendations to project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors involved in civil construction
Verify the use of approved materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications, material test reports (MTRs), and manufacturer guidelines
Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including daily inspection logs, material verification reports, compaction test results, and photographic records
Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies found during inspections, utilizing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions specific to civil construction
Collaborate with civil engineers, Architecture , and other professionals to ensure the quality and structural integrity of civil works
Perform tests and measurements, such as soil compaction tests (Proctor tests), concrete slump tests, and rebar placement checks, to assess construction quality and accuracy
Monitor compliance with safety protocols, including excavation safety, trenching regulations, and heavy equipment operation standards
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams on quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards and practices for civil works
Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control checklists for civil construction projects
Stay updated on industry standards, such as ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI, and best practices for civil construction
Ensure timely completion of all inspection activities, including final inspection and commissioning, and thorough documentation for civil construction projects
