Description

We are Looking for an Inventory Accountant with the following tasks:



Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs

• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, excess stock, and potential obsolescence, recommending actions to optimize inventory levels.

• Participate in month-end/year-end close processes and yearly external audit process.

• Assists with new product costing.

• Reconciles inventory sub-ledger reports to the general ledger.

• Collaborate with the purchasing and warehouse departments to monitor incoming inventory for proper classification and valuation.

• Implement and maintain internal controls over inventory to prevent loss and ensure integrity of stock and accounting records.

• Develop and refine inventory accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance with changing financial regulations and standards.

• Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
