Job Title: Mobile QA Engineer
Job Description:
Skilled Mobile QA Engineer with a strong background in Agile testing and Test Automation of mobile applications (iOS and Android), with the ability to design, develop, automate and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test cases for mobile applications to identify defects and ensure adherence to functional requirements.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
Enhancing automation framework with new capabilities such as adding new wrapper functions, cloud device farm integration, Jenkins integration etc.
Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design appropriate test plans and strategies.
Execute automated test scripts, analyse test results, and report defects to the development team.
Perform functional, integration, regression and End-to-end tests to ensure overall quality of the product.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, providing feedback on the quality of deliverables and suggesting improvements to the overall development process.
Ensuring comprehensive test coverage for all the features under test in the application.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile application development and testing.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile applications testing and test automation.
Strong programming experience in Java and latest JDK features.
Experience in both iOS and Android mobile automation using Appium, Selenium, XCUITest, UI Automator etc.
Good hands-on in build tools such as Maven, Gradle etc.
Strong experience and creating BDD Scenarios using cucumber and implementation.
Proficiency in continuous integration using Jenkins and containerization using Docker.
Experience in cloud Device Farm Integration (Browserstack, Sauce labs, etc).
Experience in SCM tools such as Git / Bitbucket and Git strategies.
Experience in Test management and reporting tools such as Test Rail, Jira, Confluence etc.
Strong understanding of mobile application architectures, platforms, and technologies.
Experience designing and executing manual test cases for mobile applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong troubleshooting skills using application logs, network logs, network proxies and etc, identifying the root cause of issues and provide necessary information to development team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good Experience with Agile testing methodologies and techniques.
Experience in Web and API Testing and Automation is an added advantage.
