Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
oDevelop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
oCoordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
oEnsure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
Budget Management:
oPrepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial targets are met.
oReview and approve subcontractor bids and contracts.
oMonitor and report on financial performance of the project.
Quality Control:
oImplement and oversee quality control programs to ensure high standards of workmanship.
oConduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Team Management:
oSupervise and direct the work of subcontractors and construction workers.
oProvide leadership and support to project team members.
oResolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise.
Safety Management:
oDevelop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
oConduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Stakeholder Communication:
oServe as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
oProvide regular project updates and progress reports.
oAddress any concerns or queries from clients promptly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in residential housing projects.
Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
