Job Description:

As a Matcha Barista at our Caffe, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious matcha beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. Your main duties will include:

Preparing and serving a variety of matcha-based drinks, including matcha lattes, iced matcha teas, and matcha smoothies, according to our recipes and standards.
Providing personalized recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary needs.
Ensuring that all beverages are prepared with precision and consistency, paying attention to details such as milk frothing and latte art.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment cleaning and sanitization.
Welcoming customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, engaging in conversation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Demonstrating confidence, making eye contact, and exhibiting professional communication skills with customers.
Handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system accurately.
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a matcha-focused or Japanese-inspired café environment.
Japanese appearance preferred, with a slim and smart demeanor.
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and memorable experience for customers.
Confidence, poise, and the ability to make eye contact with customers while engaging in conversation.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages.
Must be Filipino.
