Description

An experienced Human Resources Supervisor with Construction and O&M industries experience is required. The Human Resources Supervisor must be knowledgeable of company goals, relevant laws and contracts, and needs to be able to recognize and evaluate industry trends effecting the employee group. Develop and maintain complete Human Resource Policies and Procedures for the company and incorporating effective salary grading and structure.

The responsibilities of this position will include:
• Management of human resources with a strong business orientation.
• Administer a monthly payroll for 3,500 employees and liaise with finance.
• Assures availability of key staff and resources to the organization.
• Participates to recruiting interviews for first line positions
• Compensation planning and management.
• Directs implementation of human resources policies, programs and procedures,
• Participate in National and regional compensation / benefit surveys to identify market trends / cost of living impact and recommend changes in remuneration policies.
• Creation and maintenance of HR infrastructure including HR Database Systems, Performance Evaluation and Appraisal Process, training and career development plans, Succession Planning, Dispute Resolution Procedures.
• Compliance with labor legislation.
• Job Design and Redesign, Supervising development and maintenance of job profiles.
• Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel
• Understanding the organizational and political environment, identifying the HR needs and defining appropriate HR solutions to fit.
• Influencing and negotiating effectively in one-to-one situations; effectively managing conflicting priorities to the satisfaction of all parties; seeing HR as part of an organizational professional function
• People Development: coaching your subordinates in best HR management practice.
• Advices management on problems relating to human resources.
• Effectively extracting, utilizing and communicating key HR information
• Ensuring that the basics continue to be done well.
• Plans, procedures and administers staff or management training seminar for the organization.
• Executes programs to develop employee skills by utilizing various learning methods.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Human Resources Management and a minimum of 10 years experience in Construction and O&M contracting industries. Result-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Managerial and leadership Skills.
Able to manage multitasking, motivating staff members, and should handle administrative functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and follow through skills.
