Role Overview:
The Expediter in the manufacturing industry is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments or vendors to ensure efficient production processes and timely delivery of finished goods. The Expediter plays a critical role in maintaining production schedules, managing supplier relationships, and resolving any issues that may cause delays in the manufacturing process.


Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Expediter in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, material requirements, and inventory management.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other relevant software.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance standards in the manufacturing industry.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Valid driver’s license may be required for travel to vendor locations.
