Job Description:
The QA/QC Manager in Saudi Arabia, is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities within the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) sector, with a focus on piping and steel tank installation. This role requires a proven track record in managing and delivering projects, particularly in the UAE and/or Qatar, and a strong understanding of construction and design codes such as ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and local civil building codes.


Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of construction processes quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with local and global production standards.
Collaborate with quality personnel to establish and maintain quality standards of operation, ensuring alignment with industry codes and regulations.
Conduct regular quality audits to verify adherence to established quality policies and procedures.
Provide training and guidance to quality assurance personnel to build a cohesive and competent team.
Establish procedures for sampling, recording, and reporting data related to quality assurance and quality control activities.
Ensure that construction processes, particularly in MEP installations, comply with specified standards and requirements.
Coordinate with project teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure quality objectives are met.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality management in the MEP sector.


Qualifications & Requirements:The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Additional certifications in quality management are preferred.
Proven experience in managing MEP projects, with a focus on piping and steel tank installation.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects in the UAE and/or Qatar.
In-depth knowledge of construction and design codes, including ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and local civil building codes.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong commitment to quality excellence and continuous improvement.
At least 5 years of field experience in QA/QC
Languages: fluent in English
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Resident in Saudi Arabia, valid residency
Driving license
