Job Title: Business Development Representative

Department: Asset Management and Digital Transformation
Division: Facility and Asset Management
Location: Head Office

Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):

Strategic Planning and Sales Forecasting:

Develop comprehensive development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections.
Prepare detailed financial projections and set sales targets to guide business strategies.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.
Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
Client Relationship Management:

Meet with existing and potential clients to build and maintain positive relationships.
Understand customer needs and develop effective plans to meet these requirements.
Sales and Marketing Strategy Development:

Collaborate with colleagues to develop robust sales and marketing strategies.
Coordinate with internal marketing and partnership teams for new offerings, events, and content.
Sales Execution and Reporting:

Prepare and deliver sales presentations; participate in sales meetings.
Produce reports for management on sales performance and market trends.
Training and Development:

Train business developers and sales colleagues, sharing best practices and strategies for success.
Event Participation:

Attend and represent the company at events such as exhibitions and conferences to promote services and generate leads.
Facility and Asset Management Experience:

Apply deep knowledge of Facility and Asset Management to enhance business development activities.
Bid and Proposal Management:

Manage and coordinate bids, respond to RFPs, and lead proposal defenses during client presentations.
Drive the overall solution design based on client requirements, working with various teams to meet client needs.
Alliances and Partnerships Management:

Manage and coordinate alliances and partnerships, nurturing the partnership ecosystem to support business growth.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategies:

Develop and drive GTM strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, directing, and controlling activities that influence business development.
Execute demand-generation campaigns to drive revenue growth and generate a robust sales pipeline.
Identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and generate leads.
Lead the overall solution design, working with Asset Management, Facility Management, delivery, procurement, and other teams to meet client needs.
Oversee the execution of the sales plan in the global market to achieve sales quotas.
Research and identify new business opportunities and seek out appropriate contacts in organizations.
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
Understand customer needs and respond effectively with tailored plans.
Qualifications and Additional Capabilities:

Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or related field.
Strong knowledge of Asset Management Systems and Enterprise Asset Management Systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong managerial skills with an IT background.
Proven experience in lead sales pitches and strategic planning.
Presentation skills and strategy planning capabilities.
Ability to advise on the business's products or services and identify ways to improve business operations.
Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world through continuous learning and attending relevant events.
