SYSTEM PLANNING ENGINEER

Purpose of the Job:

• The purpose of this role is to be responsible, by delegation of the Project Planning and Report Manager of the deployment and execution of the relevant project planning activities.

Organizational Reporting:

• Reports directly to the Project Planning and Reporting Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning engineer is required to work within ODY-C and Primavera to capture project activities internally within Alstom and externally with the customer.
• Planning Engineer is an interface between RCU/SEA/LDI Planning and Alstom subsystem planning managers to ensure all project activities are identified and planned for the communication with the customer.
• Planning engineer shall coordinate with all subsystems of Alstom AlUla Tramway project to ensure activities are completed as planned. Any delayed activities should be reviewed from risk perspectives to the project.
• All delayed activities should have a mitigation plan agreed with the team to bring the project schedule back to the baseline.
• Project Planning Engineer should also interface with the team for the development and deployment of the project roadmap in the context of the project maturity matrix as agreed with the Project Director.
• Provide regular progress reports to the customer based on the P6 planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and or relevant project management and administration experience
• Railway or other relevant experience.
• 5-10 years of experience planning projects of various complexity.
