Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Customs Clearance Coordinator, As a member of the Logistics Operations team, this position will be responsible for preparing clearance documentation in a timely and accurate manner, completing customs clearance documentation, processing import documentation, and regular liaison with customs brokers and clients.

Responsibilities
- Handling general inquiries professionally (internally and externally) by email, and over the phone.
- Execute customs clearance procedures of all incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Prioritize and complete work according to the client’s needs, customs requirements, and Company standards.
- Completing files in the required time frame and in accordance with Customs' policies and procedures.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customers, brokers, stevedores, and transporters.
- Visualize the import documents and inform clients for the customs clearance requirements and other official requirements (Saber, Saso …Etc).
- Process customs clearance requirements for all shipments, including preparation of all necessary records and documentation.
- Solve emerging problems related to shipments.
- Provide needed documents to the broker for customs clearance & follow him.
- Develops and maintains daily reports to management and customers.
- Creates accurate and timely entries and updates to the company’s systems.
- Supports Company in achieving its Customer Experience related strategies and goals by establishing and maintaining an effective Customer relationship and collaborates to develop a thorough understanding of each Customer’s business, processes, and requirements.
- Collect customer’s feedback form regularly.
- Escalate potential breach of regulations including all relevant support information.
Skills
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in fields of Logistics (Customs Clearance / Shipping/ Transportation).
• Languages: English , Arabic.
• Computer ( MS office ) and ability to work with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Customs Tarrif (HS codes).
• Knowledge to prepare and issue SABER certificates.
• Communicating with others outside the organization.
• Candidate must be professional to work and well-behavioral in communication.
