Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Development Manager for an interiors fit out company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the market. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, developing relationships with clients, and securing contracts for interior fitout projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the interiors industry, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain business networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify market trends, potential clients, and areas for business expansion.
• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and generate leads through various channels, including market research, networking events, referrals, and cold calling. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, contractors, and key decision-makers within the industry. Understand client needs, provide solutions, and build trust to secure business opportunities.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and quotations to potential clients. Collaborate with the internal team to develop innovative and customized solutions that meet client requirements.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company. Review legal and commercial aspects of contracts, and collaborate with the legal team as required.
• Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. Use this information to develop strategies that give the company a competitive edge.
• Networking and Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking forums to expand the company's presence and establish strong relationships within the interiors sector.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the internal team, including design, project management, and estimating teams, to ensure smooth project handovers and seamless execution. Provide necessary support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Reporting and Forecasting: Track business development activities, analyze performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management. Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the budgeting and planning processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years' experience as a Sr. Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the interiors fitout industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian interiors market, including key players, industry trends, and regulations.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully generating leads, converting prospects into clients, and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify opportunities.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business development tools.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
