Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technical and Application Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, Servers, hardware, software, and applications used within the organization. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
3. Respond to service requests, incidents, and inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
4. Collaborate with other IT team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
5. Identify and escalate critical issues to appropriate personnel for resolution.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
7. Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups.
8. Train end-users on the proper use of hardware, software, and applications.
9. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT support to enhance skills and knowledge.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in IT technical support and application support roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies is a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are desirable is a plus.
