Roles and Responsibilities (Specific Accountabilities):

Manages electrical discipline staff; engineering review works, quantities budgets; and discipline engineering schedule.
Directs review works of discipline design deliverables and deliverables list.
Assigns tasks to electrical discipline staff. Keeps Department Leader informed of workload and staffing issues.
Prepares estimates and control for consultant discipline engineering man-hours, equipment costs, and bill of quantities of electrical works.
Performs review works of draft EPC project schedule to ensure that unique aspects of the project have been addressed. Coordinates with the Project Planner to ensure that document review procedures are properly loaded into the project schedule.
Coordinates and communicates with other engineering disciplines and project management.
Directs review works of discipline technical specifications and technical content of bid evaluations.
Directs technical aspects of contract administration for discipline procurements, interfaces with suppliers and subcontractors, expedites submittals, reviews shop drawings, and inspects.
Reports on design and deliverables status to Engineering Manager and Project Controls Manager.
