Receiving the tools required to be sterilized, preparing sterilization materials, performing the sterilization and packaging process, and preparing and submitting work reports

main tasks

Load and un-load the autoclave trolley in a manner which will be conductive to the sterilizing process to be use and ensure thorough drying of load contents.

Prepare all items for plasma, for plasma sterilization and record it in the logbook as part of documentation and control.

Assist in correct and safe sterilizing of all surgical instruments and dressing packs for the program according to departmental policy.
