NDT Inspector
Essential Responsibilities:
Your area of responsibility: Checking the product quality (goods receipt, intermediate and final checks);
• Documentation and processing of deviations.
• Creation of quality documentation.
• Analysis and documentation of the measurement results.
• Cooperation and management of problem-solving projects.
• Cooperation with development engineers and production managers for Conducting the tests and assessing the measurement results.
• Creation of test instructions and training of production staff.
• Conducting internal process audits and self-auditing monitoring.
• Representation of Q-inspectors in other production areas.
• Creating condition and final report for Generator, Rotor & Blade components
• Performing Dimensional inspection.
• Performing visual inspection.
• Perform Ultrasonic inspection on the bearing – (Preferred).
• Perform NDT inspection on turbine parts.
• Deal with drawing and document as per repair process required.
• Monitoring the repairing process from incoming inspection to final packing.
• Performing Electrical run out for non-contact probes.
• Creating NCR & ER case using the tools.
• Performing final check list for Generator, Rotor & Blade components
• Support the OPS leader in Updating the work progress for the Generator, Rotor & Blade components.
• Participate in quality & safety concerns reporting and hazard hunts events in the Cell.
Technician
• Working knowledge in the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of gas turbine rotor is required.
• Carries out independently tensioning/ tightening of the rotor parts by using hydraulic tools. like torque wrench, Tensioners H-pump with up to 25,000 PSI or more.
• Ability to use the measurement tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, depth, and dial gauge.
• Ability to use mechanical hand tooling and having knowledge of their functionality.
• Great organizational and time management abilities.
• Comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Align with the company Quality Policy and applicable rules and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret work Instruction and process prints/engineering drawings
• Working knowledge in use and function of Horizontal and vertical balancing machine.
• Ability to blend and grind rotor parts
Machinist
• Read and interpret part drawings and process prints.
• Will be required to perform work efficiently with no supervision.
• Ability to perform run out check for an individual part.
• Ability to perform run out check for rotating parts like generator , Turbine rotor.
• Capable to do machining work on all stationary and rotating parts like Bearing , oil seal , shaft, etc.
• Ability to do reamering, drilling, tapping, etc.
• Ability to operate lathe machine, Tip grinding Machine with little supervision.
• Ability to do various machining work
• Capable to do burnishing and skim cut, patch ring, aluminum / cupper sleeves, threading, praising.
• Ability to perform Run out by Accuscan machine.
• Ability to operate the VBM.
• Ability to train and coach others.
Heat Treatment Operator
• Set-up and perform pre-inspection of furnace, load & unload a variety of manual, semi-automatic & automatic furnaces.
• Responsible for the daily Heat Treat cycles performed and ensure that they conform to written parameters.
• Monitor process cycles for heat-treatment.
• Maintain tooling and fixtures, instruments, and furnaces in good operating conditions.
• Understanding of High-Risk Operation (HRO) .
• Required to perform 10-12-hours rotating shift as required.
• Maintain pertinent records per Quality plan.
• Loading/unloading of parts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks.
• Able to read and interpretant HT chart.
• Inspect and replace thermocouples if required.
