Transportation Assistant Post: Junior Level


Requirements:

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written(English & Arabic is a must).
-Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PP, Excel, and Outlook.
-Customer-oriented with the ability to multitask.
-2 years experience in the Logistics field, and seaport-related activities.
-High school diploma or greater.
-Valid ID & Driving License.
-Based on Jeddah, KSA

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Overseeing and scheduling the day-to-day activities of transportation requests.
-Monitor proper documentation and keep track of important documents related to transportation.
-Make appointments for pickup and delivery and update related systems.
-Frequent communication with the Management team regarding the status and logistics of deliveries/pick-ups to ensure quality service is provided to our customers.
-Actively handle clients' requests.
-Ensure all deliveries/pick-ups are done efficiently, and specific customer requests or concerns are communicated to all transportation employees.
-Document and communicate any routing delays.
-Communicate with drivers on approximate delivery times when customers call for updates.
-Provide updates to the Transportation team on delivery inquiries and delivery changes.
-Act as a liaison between driver associates and the Transportation management team.
-Ensure cost-effective methods are implemented and deal with suppliers for transportation request placement.
-May require to gain new suppliers by visiting the market or bringing in suppliers from previous experience.
-Provide official quotations to clients for different destinations as per request.

Salary package:
Basic - 3000
Food allowances - 200
To be revised after 3 months probation period
