A leading fast food company in Jeddah is on the lookout for an experienced Cost Accountant with a specialized background in the fast food restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in cost control practices specific to the restaurant sector, aiming to enhance our financial efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within our fast food operations.
• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
• Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
• Analyze the company’s financial performance and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Collaborate with management to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit and on a consolidated basis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar role, specifically within the fast food or restaurant industry.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, procedures, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study.
• Must be available to join immediately and based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.
