JOB DESCRIPTION :

Position : Safety Officer

Role •
Responsible for all HSSE matters and any other related work directed by the Project Manager

Experience:

• Construction/Precast Factory
• Operation of Construction/Precast Factory facilities
• HSE program management
• Compliance reviews, general risk assessments, HSE inspections and other safety assessments
• Emergency planning and response
• Incident prevention, investigations and Root Cause Analysis
• Advising and providing recommendations on HSE issues
• Evaluation of PPE and ensuring proper use and maintenance of PPE
• Proficient in First Aid treatment
• Preparation of weekly and monthly HSE reports
• Maintenance of HSE logs and documentation
• Conduct training and tool box talks on HSE topics Competencies
• Knowledge of local, state and international HSE regulations
• Knowledge of hazardous materials/waste HSE practices and techniques
• Skill in both verbal and written communication in English
• Computer literate

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health or related discipline
• NEBOSH (or equivalent) certified
• 5+ years of experience
