Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Electrician to join our team in the waste management and industrial services sector. As the Chief Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Your expertise in diagnostic tools and electrical systems will be critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, including diagnostic troubleshooting, wiring repairs, and component replacements.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address electrical issues proactively.

Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose complex electrical problems in vehicles and equipment.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to electrical systems in heavy-duty trucks.

Provide technical guidance and support to other electricians and maintenance personnel.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all electrical maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training in electrical systems is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in GCC.

Extensive experience as an electrician, preferably in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks.

Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and components in heavy-duty trucks.

Strong diagnostic skills and experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to heavy-duty truck electrical systems.

Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
