Job Title: Transmission Line Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Transmission Line Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction, OHL, maintenance, and repair of transmission lines, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Supervise the construction, installation, and maintenance of transmission lines.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Coordinate with project managers to schedule work assignments and resources.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of transmission line technicians and workers.

Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.

Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of safety.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor work quality and performance to meet industry standards.

Conduct inspections and ensure that work is completed according to project specifications.

Implement quality control measures to optimize transmission line performance.

Equipment and Resource Management:

Oversee the utilization and maintenance of equipment and tools.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.

Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage and handling of materials.

Communication:

Liaise with project stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.

Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the project.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Transmission Line Supervisor or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of transmission line construction, maintenance, and safety practices.

Technical background with relevant certifications in electrical or civil engineering.

Leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.

Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in transmission line construction and maintenance.

Relevant certifications and training in safety protocols.
