Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Catering Store Keeper to manage our cutlery inventory, including items such as tablespoons, forks, knives, and other related utensils. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintain and organize the cutlery inventory. Ensure that all items are accounted for, in good condition, and ready for use.
Quality Control: Regularly inspect cutlery for damage or wear and coordinate repair or replacement as needed.
Ordering and Purchasing: Manage the procurement of new cutlery, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery.
Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of inventory levels, orders placed, and items issued or returned.
Collaboration: Work closely with the catering team to understand cutlery needs for different events and ensure availability.
Maintenance and Cleaning: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of cutlery to uphold hygiene and quality standards.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of cutlery.
Budget Management: Monitor expenditures related to cutlery and stay within the allocated budget.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping practices.
Familiarity with catering equipment and cutlery.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and record keeping.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, or extended hours as required.
