Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with experience in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for various O&M projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Project Analysis:

Analyze project requirements and specifications to understand the scope of work.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather relevant information.

Cost Estimation:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for O&M projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Utilize industry-standard estimating tools and software.

Bid Proposal:

Develop comprehensive bid proposals based on the cost estimates.
Ensure that bid proposals meet client requirements and specifications.

Competitive Analysis:

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
Analyze competitors' bids and adjust our estimates to remain competitive.

Communication:

Collaborate with internal teams to validate project assumptions and parameters.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all estimates, including assumptions and data sources.
Update and revise estimates as project details evolve.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the estimation process.
Provide feedback on completed projects to refine future estimates.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer, particularly in the Operation and Maintenance sector.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficient in using estimation software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
