Job Summary
We are currently looking for a skilled and versatile Presales Data Center Engineer to become a part of our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background and be able to design comprehensive data center solutions based on the clients' requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of data center architecture, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies. The Presales Data Center Engineer will collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the presales process and contribute to developing successful proposals.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and objectives.
• Conduct meetings with clients to gather technical specifications and assess their existing data center infrastructure.
Solution Design:
• Develop comprehensive data center solutions that meet client needs and follow industry best practices.
• Design and document both high-level and low-level technical architectures, including server virtualization, storage, networking, and security components.
Technical Presentations:
• Deliver compelling technical presentations to clients, showcasing the proposed data center solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proposal Development:
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create effective collateral that highlights the technical advantages of our data center solutions.
Product Knowledge:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data center technologies, virtualization, and related industry trends.
• Provide feedback to the product development teams based on client interactions and market demands.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, implementation, and support, to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Additionally, the ideal candidate should have proven experience in presales engineering or a similar technical consulting role.
• They must deeply understand data center technologies such as server virtualization, storage, and networking.
• The candidate should also have strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must-have.
• The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Any relevant certifications such as VMware or Cisco Certified Network Professional will be considered a plus.
This job requires the following skills:
• Familiarity with data center automation and orchestration tools.
• Experience in designing and implementing hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security best practices in data center environments.
