We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Food Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and optimizing our food production processes while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procedures to ensure consistent implementation and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues in procurement, sales, technical services, and marketing to drive efficient and effective operations.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to develop appropriate solutions for production processes, maintaining food safety protocols.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop quality standards and propose new products that meet market demands.
Implement and enforce food safety and product quality procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Perform administrative tasks and liaise with government agencies as necessary.
Apply regulations and laws related to occupational health and safety to maintain a safe working environment.
Contribute to the modification of current products and processes while actively participating in the development of new products.
Inspect and improve safety procedures and quality control measures within our factories.
Monitor production processes from raw materials to the final product, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Conduct research on current consumer markets and stay updated on the latest technologies for product development.
Identify and collaborate with suppliers to select raw materials and different components for our products.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in food engineering or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with current trends and technologies in food engineering and product development.
