Role Description
The Warehouse Keeper/Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, organization, and utilization of space, labeling and tagging of products, and ensuring maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness of the storage areas. They will also be responsible for facilitating the smooth running of the warehouse and compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities
• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods and materials.
• Organizing and maintaining inventory levels.
• Issuing materials and supplies as needed.
• Recording and updating inventory data in the system.
• Performing regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
• Ensuring proper storage and labeling of products.
• Managing the order picking and packing process.
• Coordinating with suppliers and vendors for deliveries.
• Packing and labeling products for shipment.
• Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods.
• Keeping the warehouse/store clean and organized.
• Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment.
• Conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts.
• Handling returns and damaged goods appropriately.
• Collaborating with other departments to fulfill requests.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or record-keeping is highly desirable.
• Awareness of regulations and compliance with storage and safety requirements is mandatory.
• A candidate should have good organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
• Physical fitness to carry out the duties of the role including lifting and moving of boxes or packages.
• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills to update and maintain inventory records.
• Good knowledge of UDOO, Microsoft Office Suite or any other inventory management software.
