We are hiring in a construction company in Riyadh, Head of Cost.


1. Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil
Engineering, or a related field.

2. Certifications:
• Membership or Chartered status with a recognized institution, such as the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building
(CIOB), depending on the country of operation.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or an equivalent cost engineering certification.

3. Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced proficiency in cost management software tools such as CostX, WinEst, or
similar.
• Familiarity with construction management software and Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) systems.

4. Key Skills:
• Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Experience in contract management, negotiations, and procurement processes.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best
practices.
• Ability to assess and mitigate financial risks.

5. Personal Attributes:
• High level of integrity and transparency.
• Proactive and forward-thinking, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Years of Experience:
1. General Construction Experience: At least 8-12 years in the construction industry, with an
emphasis on cost management, quantity surveying, and financial oversight of large-scale
projects.
2. Leadership Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years in a senior leadership or management role
related to cost or financial management within construction projects.
3. Specific Project Experience: Direct experience in overseeing the cost management for
projects of 500 million SAR or more. Candidates should ideally have managed or been
deeply involved in the financial aspects of at least 2-3 projects of similar scale to the ones
your organization deals with
