We are urgently hiring the following postion in one of the well known group of company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of an organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing and maintaining hardware, software, network systems, and providing support to end-users. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Hardware and Software Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
- Ensure software applications are up to date and compatible with the organization's needs.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions.
Network Administration:
- Monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
- Implement security protocols and firewall configurations to protect against cyber threats.
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance.
User Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Train employees on IT tools and systems as needed.
- Maintain an IT helpdesk to log and track support requests.
Data Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or data loss.
Security and Compliance:
- Enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data.
- Stay updated on security threats and implement necessary safeguards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Documentation:
- Maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Create and update IT manuals and knowledge base articles.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for IT hardware, software, and services.
- Manage vendor contracts and service agreements.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize IT infrastructure for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in IT operations, network administration, and user support.
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with network protocols, security best practices, and firewall configurations.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
