Description

Looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer for major hotel projects. The role will involve the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Planning and Schedule knowledge for Hotel Projects and related infrastructure works.
• Support the Project Team with day-to-day Scheduling tasks, weekly / monthly status & updates, scenarios, or “what if’s.”
• Lead preparation of Extension of Time Claims (EOTs) and evaluation of Subcontractor EOT Claims.
• Utilize Primavera P6 in development and updating of project schedules.
• Knowledge in appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities for project schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, scope, and timelines.
• Analyze resource requirements and advise Project Team to maintain required progress.
• Prepare necessary trackers that can support project execution and monitoring of progress, e.g. Engineering & Procurement Trackers.
• Assess critical paths in project schedules including potential delays, and opportunities for mitigations.
• Identify variances between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas that require attention and corrective actions by Project Team.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly progress reports and ensure timely updates.
• Review subcontractor schedules to ensure compliance with the project schedules and includes monitoring their progress.
• Prepare recovery and revised schedules as maybe required.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential
• Proven experience in project planning, monitoring & controlling with 5-10 years experience.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
• Knowledge in contracts is a plus.
• Well versed in spreadsheets and presentations.
• With excellent skills both in written and verbal communications.

a. Must have transferrable Iqama.
b. Can join our team immediately.
c. Wiling to assigned other location as per project requirements.
