Description

We are a start-up Sanitary Materials Establishment and we need someone to take over the organization's accounts and its warehouse and develop it to develop with it.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Review all petty cash payments and receipts to ensure timely recording and reconciliation on daily basis
 Perform all accounting Accounts Payable sub-ledger transactions related reports including Aging, Goods in transit, Goods not invoiced, etc
 Reconcile suppliers invoices and ensure that payment is made in accordance to the negotiated terms and schedule
 File all required supporting documentation for Accounts Payable transactions such as memos, faxes, etc
 Perform all accounting General Ledger transactions reports including Inventory variance, etc
 Validate, reconcile and report transactions related to Inventory and Fixed Assets accounts
 File all required supporting documentation for financial transactions such as memos, faxes, etc.
 Ensure that all interim G/L accounts maintain a null balance
 Ensure the timely posting of fixed assets procured with proper management approval
 Responsible for recording and capitalizing the assets with required codification and dimensions in a timely manner
 Responsible for monitoring the asset work in progress and ensure capitalization
 Coordinate periodical fixed assets physical verification
 Responsible for ensuring the book inventory reflects physical presence by coordinating periodical inventory counts
 Maintain schedules for accruals, provisional entries, and write-offs
 Responsible for monthly data required for tax returns and provide to external auditors
 Responsible for tax payment transfers to tax authorities
 Receive and transfer materials and update records in System before transfer, issuance or storage.

Job-Specific Skills:
 Good MS office skills
 Strong Accounting knowledge
 Strong Teambuilding skills
 English & Arabic language (preferred)
