Position Overview:
As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental regulations across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in safety management, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and rectify hazards
Develop, implement, and review safety policies and procedures
Provide safety training to employees on an ongoing basis
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses
Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety initiatives
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
Keep abreast of industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, and other relevant HSE certifications
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential safety issues
