Description

Design and implement geophysical survey strategies for munitions response investigations and removal actions under regulatory programs
Serve as a mentor and provide technical guidance and expertise to practice area professional staff
Confirms companywide geophysical projects are being conducted in a manner to assure technical completeness, accuracy and ingenuity and identifies and secures additional expertise where needed
Lead and/or participate in proposal efforts
Conduct site visits or fieldwork as required
Provide presentations as part of the technical project planning process, restoration advisory board or other public meetings
Responsible for the overall technical quality and efficiency of the geophysics practice area

Qualifications:-
A Bachelor's degree in geophysics or geoscience related field of study
Knowledge of geological and tectonic systems and their applications to real world scenarios
Collect field samples and observations outdoors in varying environmental and weather conditions
4-5 Years experience needed.
Data collected from the surface of the Earth and under the surface; survey and record all geophysical models and images
Analyze field samples collected in the laboratory and maintain detailed logs of information
Ability to derive technical reports from observations and information collected from the field
Report and take direction from a manager; ability to follow job tasks accurately
Ability to work independently or as a contributing member within a team
