Description

An International School based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, is currently looking for an experienced Accountant (Male/ Female) who will be responsible for supervising the accounting and finance department to ensure efficient functioning of all the systems.

Job Description
• Develop accounting strategies to achieve institutional goals.
• Ensuring timelines, accuracy, and completeness in accounting operations.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and verify that all the reports are prepared accurately.
• Analyze and approve journal entries.
• Directly responsible for monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive team members.
• Participate in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Conduct careful analysis related to financial statements and reports.
• Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed and reviewed regularly.
• Oversee daily accounting functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manage day - to - day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns.
• Take a lead role in coordinating and finalization of the annual external audit.
• Make sure accurate data is presented in the financial statements related to financial performance and position.

Requirements:
• Have the ability, expertise, and demonstrable working experience of closing the month - end financial reporting cycle.
• Hold a Bachelor/ Master’s degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting management, monthly closing, annual audits, and finalization of financial statements.
• Have experience in monthly financial reporting.
• Must have experience of using ERP/ Tally system.
• Fluent in the English language verbal & writing is must.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Iqama must be transferable.
• Immediately joining is required.
