Planning Engineer - Beach Sand/Civil Projects

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in beach sand or civil projects and possess expertise in project scheduling and management using Primavera P6. The ability to handle client dealings, work with shop drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD drawings are essential. Experience with Revit will be considered a plus point.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation using Primavera P6, ensuring adherence to project requirements and timelines.
2. Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliverables.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary data and information for project planning and scheduling.
4. Prepare detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and create project baseline schedules.
5. Monitor project progress, track actual versus planned activities, and identify any deviations or delays.
6. Analyze critical paths, resource utilization, and project constraints to propose effective solutions and optimize project schedules.
7. Prepare and present project progress reports to clients and internal teams, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
8. Coordinate with the design team to review and incorporate shop drawings, AutoCAD drawings, and Revit models into the project schedule.
9. Assist in contract administration, including reviewing and analyzing project specifications, terms, and conditions.
10. Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

[Requirements]:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in beach sand or civil projects.
3. Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
4. Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
5. Experience in client dealings and the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
6. Familiarity with shop drawings and AutoCAD drawings; experience with Revit is a plus.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
