Job description

Summary:
We are looking for a competent Civil Supervisor to coordinate site work and oversee workers at
construction sites. The candidate will be a key person for the completion of a project. A civil
supervisor has a solid background in the water network, and construction field. The candidate’s
leadership skills and extensive experience must direct the work of others and make quick decisions.
The candidate must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Monitor attendance of crew.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
• Supervise and train workers and trades people.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
• Supervise the installation of instruments and water appurtenances.
• Resolve problems when they arise.
• Report progress to managers, engineers etc.

Requirements:
• Engineering degree in a skilled trade (electrician, mechanical or civil works). High school
diploma can be accepted for very experienced candidates
• At least 5 Years of proven experience as civil supervisor
• In-depth knowledge of water work construction procedures, equipment, and HSSE
guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings and plan.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Valid Driver’s License.
