BIM DESIGN ENGINEERS (ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL & MEP)


Role Description


The BIM Design Engineer role at SDT International is a full-time onsite engineering position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The BIM Design Engineers {Electrical, Mechanical & MEP) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining BIM design technology for construction projects. This will include developing 3D modelling systems, supporting design teams through the technical implementation of construction documents, and managing BIM software application and upgrades. The BIM Design Engineer will ensure that SDT International's construction projects maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture or a related field with 7-10 years of experience in BIM modelling or design Experience with BIM technology and software applications (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, 3D Studio Max) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently. In-depth knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and protocols (such as COBie, IFC, and BIM 360). Demonstrated experience in implementing BIM on projects of various scales and complexities, and ability to lead a BIM team to handle multiple projects. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail Strong knowledge of construction processes and frameworks
