Role Summary:

Responsible for production output within the standard hours in job order

Essential Responsibilities: -

• Follow safety standards
• Read and understand drawing
• Setting up parts, ensure that the offset as per specification & running the parts as per standard times within specified tolerance.
• Work within close tolerances to perform adjustments and measurements assuring proper alignment of machine and parts, etc.
• Perform dimensional inspection & recording as per requirements.
• Perform product preservation as per procedures.
• Perform 6S and housekeeping activities for the machines (interior & exterior), platforms, and its surrounding.
• Apply puffing/grinding on sharp edges to ensure the quality of surface finish
• Raise HSE concerns/observations as per the HSE per capita target
• Assist Support Team in carrying out tool performance evaluation as well as testing of new program and new cutting tool.
• Conduct machine tool preventive maintenance & conduct daily maintenance checklist.
• Participate in process continuous improvement
• Have capability knowledge and skill to operate 2 to 3 machines with various processes (Minimum, LATHE, VTL, HMC)
• Assist support team in the routine process to optimize the machining process.
• Report out fixture performance and rigidity evaluation as well as testing of new fixture design and clamping method.
• Participate in improvement project and implementation of lean Manufacturing.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum three years’ experience in machining Oil & Gas products such as Gate valves, Trees Bonnets, TBG heads, well head products.
• Diploma in the same field
• Hands on experience in CNC Machines - horizontal & Vertical Turning center, Horizontal Milling and Boring machine (Puma Doosan, Hyundai Machines).
• Capable of Reading/writing CNC programming in Fanuc Control.
• Hands on experience in cutting tools and fixtures.
• Hands on experience in Measuring instruments, Vernier, Micrometer, Ball gages and MRP Gages etc.
• Shall be able to individually set up, operate and produce parts as per drawing requirement.
• Experience in cutting parameter set up.
• Experience in tool set up, tool offset, geometrical & wear offset.
Sourcing / Position Requirements:-
• Working Hours Per Day: 10 hours a day
• Working Days Per Week: 6 days a week
• Contract Duration: 1 Year
• Number of positions needs to be filled: 23 total positions – 3 with 2-3 years of experience and 20 experienced with 4+ years of relevant experience
Position Requirements:-
• Years of relevant experience? 2-3 years for Mid-level quota and 3+ years the for experienced quota
• Educational Requirements: please check the below
• Candidate Max Age: 45
• Mandatory experience/skills/tools: API 6A – LATHE – VTL – HMC – Axis 5
