Job Description:

As the Accountant in Charge of Cash on Delivery Collections, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of cash collections from our COD transactions. You will collaborate closely with our delivery team, customers, and finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments. Your responsibilities will include:


Responsibilities:

COD Collections Management:

Handle and record cash collections from COD transactions accurately and promptly.

Verify the authenticity of payments and ensure compliance with company policies.

Reconcile collected cash with the respective sales invoices and delivery records.


Customer Interaction:

Maintain professional and positive communication with customers during the payment process.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance related to COD collections.


Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on COD collections.

Maintain organized records of all transactions and customer interactions.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required.


Process Improvement:

Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of COD collections.

Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial procedures.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in cash handling and accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
