Working Location:KSA - Neom

Key Responsibilities:

• Take lead responsibility for QS team
• Responsible for the management of subcontractors
• Measurement, valuation, and monthly certification of subcontractor works
• Assessment of all subcontractor/supplier variations
• Agreement and closure of all subcontractor/ supplier final accounts
• Accurate and regular reporting of all related costs to the Cost Manager to be fed into the company's monthly financial reports
• Responsible for the measurement of monthly Interim Payment Applications
• Coordination with higher Manager to ensure the timely submission of all elements of the Monthly Interim Applications are submitted timeously
• Negotiation and agreement of monthly interim applications with Engineer’s QS
• Identification of contract variations/ change management
• Measurement, submission, and agreement of all contract variations including procurement of market quotations
• Measurement, submission, and agreement of all contract Provisional Sums including procurement of market quotations
• Responsible for the creation and management of procurement schedule
• Compilation of comprehensive subcontractor packages to be issued to the market
• Interrogation and adjudication of market quotations
• Identify risk and opportunity in market quotations received
• Negotiation with subcontractors to obtain positive commercial gains and outcomes for the project
• Agreement of subcontract terms and conditions ensuring the company/project position is protected at all times
• Compilation of comprehensive and robust subcontracts
• Understand and follow the procurement schedule
• Measurement of materials required for procurement
• Liaison with stores to ensure no overpurchases of bulk materials
• Liaison with the Technical Manager to obtain current shop drawings for measuring
• Liaison with the Construction team to check and verify procurement requisition requests

Requirements:

• Quantity Surveyor degree
• Proven experience as a QS on mid to large-scale construction projects is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in the use of cost estimation software such as CostX.
• Proficient in quantity take-off techniques, cost-estimating methodologies, and cost-control practices.
• Effective Communicator
• Good Organization Skills

Remark:Precast Experience is preferred
