Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician



Job description


· To have the knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair engines, refrigeration systems and electrical controls/wiring

· Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhauling complete engine.

· Duties included but not limited to monitoring reefer settings, plugging, and unplugging and pre trip inspections, reefer reporting

· Efficiently perform preventive maintenance inspections. Ensure the timely and effective repair of any problems identified during preventive maintenance inspections. (i.e. oil and filter changes, unit inspections, etc.)

· Responsible for scheduling/efficiently perform periodic maintenance for all fleet

· All labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit.

· Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers

· Ability to perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs to lift gates.

· Air brake system diagnosis and repair.

· Perform gas weld and soldering repairs

Qualifications

A minimum of:

· Vocational Diploma/Short course certificate.
· 5 years of working experience in reefer fleet system
· Experience in Van sales, Doc, and Eggs truck refrigeration system (Thermo king & Carrier units/ overhauling compressors, Evaporators, Engine, Calibration activities

Nationality - Philippines / Indian / Bangladesh / sri lanka
