Fleet Supervisor


Fleet supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their company’s fleet of vehicles. They ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, safe to drive, and in good working order. They may also be tasked with hiring new drivers or training current ones on safety protocols and best practices. Our fleet is Heavy Trucks around 500 Truck .

Fleet supervisors commonly work long hours and weekends as they oversee maintenance schedules and make sure that all vehicles are ready to go when needed.

-Communicating with dispatch to ensure that drivers have accurate information about their routes
-Establishing procedures for employee performance evaluations
-Conducting regular safety inspections of vehicles to ensure that they are in good working order
-Ensuring that company policies are followed regarding vehicle maintenance, accident prevention, fuel efficiency, and other driving practices
-Training new employees on safety procedures and company policies
