KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

1. Provide Technical support for area inspectors and review and approve cathodic protection strategy.
2. Carries out audit or cold eye review for the routine, SD and TA inspections activities progress and plans to ensure consistency across the site.
3. Ensuring strategy implementation and having valid PR/PO of Cathodic Protection across the site and plants
4. Plan, organize, assign, supervise and review the work of assigned inspectors in the area.
5. Provide technical input for cathodic Protection.
6. Co-ordinate with SABIC Manufacturing Services Inspection (MSI) for day-to-day inspection activates and Schedule attainment.
7. Ensure full implementation of SABIC & ExxonMobil standards and Tier-1,2, 3 Best Practices.
8. Review and approve contract inspection personnel qualifications, inspection related procedure and ITP (For CM, S/D, T/A or DCR Projects).
9. Responsible for coordinating the inspection activities and services relating to specific projects and T/A’s.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

1. B.S in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or electrical Engineering or Diploma with outstanding experience
2. Working knowledge of required codes and standards
3. Seven (7) years in inspection work or related experience in the petrochemical industry for bachelor’s degree.
4. Or ten (10) years in inspection work or related experience in the petrochemical industry for Diploma Degree
5. MUST have NACE CP Level 1 or 2
6. Preferred Having NACE Coating certificate.
7. Preferred Having some API certificates like (API 510 or API 570 or API 653)
8. Preferred Having ASNT Level -II in conventional methods (PT, MT, VT, RT, & UT)
9. Familiar with ASME codes and standards
